PTI - Make It Monday #48: Creating Backgrounds with Border Dies

Yea!! This is the second week of my commitment to make a card each week for the Make It Monday challenge on PTI. I've had a really busy week but I finally got around to working on this tonight. Another goal for this year is to use all of the stamps I have bought, so I am happy to report that I have used this adorable whale stamp set from PTI!! It's an awesome stamp set that only cost $5.00!! Woohoo!

Stamps: PTI Whale Wishes
CS: PTI - Stamper's Select White, Aqua Mist, and Hawaiian Shores
Ink: PTI - Smokey Shadow and Pure Poppy
Other: PTI - Rickrack die, large rickrack die, and whale die

Note: I didn't use the actual cuts from the rickrack dies, I used the sections left over between the cuts, I liked the slight variations.

Christmas Scrapbook Pages

My sweet little Granddaughter's had their pictures made with Santa Claus. I kept the pages very simple as I think the pictures are wonderful and wanted them to stand out. I used my Cricut to cut out "SANTA" and PTI dies for the holly, numbers, circle embellishments, and border at bottom of patterned paper. Stamps on circle embellishments were PTI and stamps above journaling were from the Michael's dollar bin. Sorry, I did not keep a list of everything I used, I was on a roll and didn't think about it. Hope everyone has a great week, it's back to work for me tomorrow.

PTI - Make It Monday #31- Making Backgrounds with Non Background Stamps

All supplies used are PTI unless otherwise noted.

Stamps: On My Couch
CS: Stamper's Select and Hawaiian Shores
Ink: Smokey Shadow, Hawaiian Shores, Autumn Rose, Canyon Clay, Simply Chartruese
Dies: On My Couch and Double Ended Banner

Note: Stamped front panel is the cheaper Wal-mart card stock, I was playing around when I started but did not want to start over. I did use Stamper's Select for the card base. Also, I accidentally stamped the lamps with Memento Tuxedo black, it was open on my desk, but totally meant to use Smokey Shadow as I had stamped the chairs and sofas with the Smokey Shadow. I also used Copic sketch markers to color the lamps. If you are in the market to buy a die, I can tell you that I use the double ended banner die all of the time!!

Ok, so I have recommitted to putting projects on my blog!! Yes, it was a New Year's Resolution, so hopefully there will be a post at least every Monday, and maybe more. Up to this point I have been more of a collector of card making and scrapbooking supplies, but I hope to complete more projects this year. Thanks for stopping by!
